Today, the family of Raim Farkhadi visited the Republican Children’s Library. Raim had been a lifelong friend of this library. On the anniversary of his passing, in memory of the writer, his widow and grandchildren donated his children’s books in Russian and Uzbek — published over various years — to the library.
Together with the library’s director, Asror Khodjaev, and public program producer Karina Zhavlieva, they walked through the reading halls.
The legacy of Raim Farkhadi — an integral part of Uzbek culture — will continue to inspire future generations with the spirit of kindness, love for their homeland, and care for nature.
As Raim Khakimovich once wrote:
“Children love to draw the sun — they want the world around them to become brighter and more joyful. A book in a child’s hands is also a sun; it lights their way into the future. A kind, wise book gives kind, wise advice.”
